GOAL
Promote club tokens in Japan
Redefining Fandom in Japan
Japan has a passionate football fanbase, and we want to bring them closer to the clubs they love. The mission with SBI Chiliz is to introduce Fan Tokens in a way that is engaging, showing Japanese what they can do with our product.
Our Challenge
The main challenge was to create a website that conveys trust and reassurance to Japanese football fans about club tokens, ensuring clarity and transparency in the product offering.
Additionally, the site needed to be fully bilingual English and Japanese, supporting different alphabets while maintaining a consistent and intuitive user experience. All of this had to be designed efficiently so that a polished Figma file could be delivered to the development team on time for implementation.
UX research / benchmarking
I conducted targeted benchmarking to understand how similar products and high-performing markets communicate new concepts.
This included reviewing Japanese marketing sites to study their minimalist layout patterns, as well as analysing crypto product landing pages to see how they introduce technical concepts, reduce first-time cognitive load, and guide users toward a clear next step.
These insights directly influenced our content strategy and page structure decisions.
Results
Delivered on Time
Despite a limited timeframe, we successfully delivered a finalized website that met expectations.
Approved by Japanese Collaborators
The site was reviewed and approved by our Japanese partners.
Ready to Be Showcased
The website is now ready to be presented at crypto events to confidently introduce club tokens to the Japanese market.
